Thanks for stopping by to politick with us. I was reading that you are originally from Philly? Can you discuss your background and how you fell in love with music?

I basically grew up in North Philadelphia and it is been well documented of how hard the area can be at times. The influence of music and soul of the city always played an integral part as to why I love my city so much. And of course its the place where I discovered the music.

Can you talk about your name, how it came about, etc?

At the time, I was just looking for a name that would allow me to be diverse with my music. I already had Jaidyn in mind and someone I was talking at the moment asked me why don’t I change my name to Jaidyn without any conversation prior. I took that as a sign that it was right for me.

Who would you compare your self to musically?

I don’t really compare, but some of my biggest influences are B.I.G, Kanye, Drake, Jay Z, Rick Ross and Eminem, so I personally feel like I carry bits and pieces of each individual artist in my own special way.

Speaking of a cult following of fans, who is your most dedicated and loyal fan?

Someone on YouTube, his name on there is currently Natsu Fiasco. He comments and likes everything I put out haha.

Can you discuss your current projects and plans for 2017?

My solid plan is to continue to drop music throughout the year and grow my fanbase both online and offline.

Can you describe some more about the song “Hood All Day”? Is there a music video for it?

There’ll be a video soon. The song is a vocal depiction of what I see on a daily basis. I wanted to share my perspective with my audience, as to what I see and what I’ve experienced.

If someone never heard your music before, what is the first song that you would want them to hear?

Hood All Day of course.

Have you worked with any famous producers, artists?

So Far I have worked with Dice Raw who has an affiliation with the famous Roots, and I’ve also worked with Skyzoo who is known throughout the Hip-Hop world.

Thanks for coming thru. Anymore words for the readers, where can we check out more of your music?

All my content is on lamjaidyn.com I appreciate anyone who takes the time out to understand the way I do things, and why I do them. Im always grateful, and count my blesses as often as I can.
