Bio:
Although music has been his life for over a decade for Jackson, MS native, ML the Truth, 2010 has
been a phenomenal year for the young producer/singer. ML–aka “The Truth”—teams up with Island
Def Jam Digital Distribution to release his album “The Truth.”

With the support of radio music program directors and disc jockeys, ML has enjoyed an
unprecedented amount of success in his local market.

ML says “Being told by my friends, local fans and family that my music was inspiring to them was
motivating to me. The motivation changed one day when he was on twitter at the end of 2009. “An
artist I looked up to twitted that ‘your boys, girlfriend and family members telling you your music is
hot doesn’t make it hot.’ It made me work harder to get my creations on a larger scale to see if the
rest of the world would identify with it” expressed ML.

The motivation must have worked because ML the Truth took 2010 by storm and caught the
attention of veteran R&B songstress Monica. According to ML, “The Truth features ‘First Time’ which
was picked as the winning song for Monica’s “Here I Am” national talent search. “She picked the
ballad which is about making love for the first time, out of over 600 contestants.” She liked the song
so much that she invited ML to sing a duet with her onstage at the 107.9 Birthday Bash in Atlanta,
GA June 2010. This year’s mega event featured Ciara, Ludacris, Travis Porter, Roscoe Dash,
Jeezy, Plies, Gucci Mane, Rocko, Trina and many more. Monica’s validation of his musical talent
increased his hunger for competition and getting his music to the masses.

ML entered his songs in more competitions. One such song is the heartfelt single “Missing You.”
This second chance song about a man’s missing a person he took for granted, won ML the Cellular
South Listener’s Choice competition title in September 2010. Many a listener has commented on the
intimate honesty of the song and its profound quality of delivery. The Global Cell phone company
liked it so much that they allowed him to be a part of their ring back service usually reserved for artist
signed by a major record label.

“Love Games” is another winner on The Truth. This fun look at how to keep your sex life spicy with
your significant other recently won LL Cool J’s Battle Grounds competition in November 2010. It is
currently in rotation. “Love Games is my favorite ballad on the album. I hope to get Mr. Mississippi
David Banner on the remix” says ML.

Newcomers Loksmif, Marland Williams, Charron Michelle and Conrizzle graced the project with
production. ML secured features from Fiend (former No Limit Records and Ruff Ryders artist),
Recognition (R&B duo currently #1 on the Billboard Indie Urban charts) and Romero ( Spoken
Wordsmith).

Check out and buy his music on ITUNES, AMAZON, NAPSTER, and various digital outlets.
If 2011 is going to be like 2010, the world will know and say his music is Hot. That is the Truth.
