Welcome to another funky dope fresh edition of Po Politickin. In this episode, we politick with the singer, songwriter, and dancer Shanell aka Snl.

Shanell is the R&B voice of Young Money, plus a very talented writer having penned Lil Wayne‘s hit single “Prom Queen“. SnL has received a lot of praise from her boss Weezy on several occasions, even appearing on 4 separate tracks of his Gold certified Rebirth album.

The Young Mula Princess started her career as a back-up dancer for other singers in music videos, but then moved in to writing material for hip-hop and R&B’s biggest names, such as Jay-Z, Ne-Yo, Usher, and more. To build on her career, Shanell is now actively promoting her debut studio album by releasing singles and music videos. SnL has also released 5 mixtapes, which feature the likes of her YM label-mates Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
