Since his collaboration project under the name of RMVBM in 2015, Sir Hop had been relatively quiet for the past couple of years. The Atlanta emcee began to resurface in April of this year with a blazing hot feature verse on Roland Reject’s “Ready 2 Go”; followed shortly by a string of one-off releases known as The Heat Check Series that began in May. Hop then announced the upcoming release of The Allure via his music video debut of “Runnin”, The Allure’s first single.

Now that The Allure’s release date has come and go, it is definitely safe to say that Sir Hop is back and moving full steam ahead with an uncanny and nearly anti-social type of focus. The Allure only boasts one feature and is entirely self-produced with the exception being that “After Party” is produced by Sir Poseidon. With a dynamic, flow and a bass driven beat selection that perfectly balances sampling, synths, and instrumentation, Sir Hop is sure to usher in a raw sound that challenges the stereotypical norm of what is known as the Atlanta sound. When asked what inspired the sound of The Allure Hop responds, “The distance between my lowest depths and my highest heights is what inspired The Allure. It was the allure of self-actualization and living a life consistent with my own truths and desires. A sentiment that I think all people have to confront at some point in their lives…”

Sir Hop’s The Allure was independently released on 8/17/2017 and is available for purchase at sirhopatl.com.
