He was influenced at an early age by gospel greats and R&B giants in the Cincinnati region and decided early what direction in music he wanted to go, listening to groups like The great Ojays, Teddy Pendergrass, Levert, Jodeci, Dru-Hill and other artists like Stevie wonder, Donny Hathaway just to name a few. Vic G G embodies the soul of the past with the sharp and witty cadence of the new school and add a spice of reggae for a unique “V” blend of love and consciousness with a shot of humor. He has recorded with greats like Gerald Levert, Angie stone and Keith Sweat. Vic G along with his group has won six times at the Apollo in Harlem, NY. He is a Cincinnati R&B legend in the making.
