East Point, GA rapper/producer Yamin Semali presents the Will Feagins Jr.-directed music video for “Missing Me”, the new single from The HotEP, his EP produced by Virginia beatsmith Dublohskytzo. Fresh off a Europe tour with Cunninglynguists, Yamin’s last release was The $aturday/$unday Remixes, a project in which he remixes over his own productions the Monday/Friday album he released in 2015 with fellow Atlanta producer Illastrate are Monday/Friday (Monday/Friday on Bandcamp). Besides his collaborations with Blu, Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound and J-Live, Yamin’s work as one half of Atlanta rap duo Clan Destined garnered them a 5 out of 5 rating from Creative Loafing for their album Self Titled. Yamin made AllHipHop’s Top Indie Artists of 2015 list (read) as well as its 2014 top 50 artists list, and Yamin’s self-titled solo debut album landed on Dart Adam’s Top 50 Albums of 2013 list. “This is the first song we did for our 2016 sessions,” Yamin says about the new single. “Based on a true story.” The HotEP is out now on Bandcamp featuring limited edition golden cassettes including instrumentals on the b-side, plus digital download.
