Dipset features on Purple Haze 2…
Jim Jones was the only Dipset member featured on the Purple Haze 2 album. The 2004 edition of Purple Haze featured Dipset members Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Freeky Zeeky, JR Writer, and Un Kasa.
Cam’ron is a loyal dude…
Since his first album, Confessions of Fire, Cam’ron has been repping and honoring the life of his dear friend Bloodshed. Cam’ron also honors the life of his homie Huddy 6. I want my friends to represent me the same way when I’m gone.
Cam mentions past relationships with Juju…
Cam had a couple of lines directed at Juju. He mentioned how he never addressed the topic before, but it seems as if he was saving the topic for PH2.
Nostalgic Killa…
Cam’s production and flow took me back to the original Purple Haze. Overall, Purple Haze 2 is a solid project, and I enjoyed the production. The Heatmakerz, Rek, and even Cam’s tracks stood out which includes, “I Don’t Know” ft. Wale, “This is My City” ft. Max B, “Keep Rising” ft. Max B, and “Straight Harlem” ft. Jim Jones and Shoota 93
Cam has a million stories…
In PH2, Cam discusses a Suge Knight altercation over a Tupac beat, his big homie almost robbing former NBA player Stephon Marbury, and stopping Jay-Z after a drug run. As Cam mentions, his stories are all true.
Cam’s merch game is crazy…
Shortly after the release of PH2, Cam was selling Purple Haze 2 lighters, ashtrays, t-shirts, hoodies, and more. Cop you something on Shop.PurpleHaze2.com
True Dipset fans rejoice…
15 years later from the original Purple Haze, PH2 takes you on a great trip down memory lane. It’s similar to seeing NBA player Carmelo Anthony returning to the NBA and balling this year. True Dipset fans will enjoy this album, and Cam should be able to grab some fresh fans from the newer generation too.
