Chow Mane has described himself as “hip hop’s Jackie Chan.” Presumably, this means that he does his own stunts, quickly masters new styles, and makes you laugh. His versatility in producing and rapping is highly influenced by Lil B, Ronald Takaki, and soup dumplings. His lyrics range from semi-serious topics surrounding Asian American identity to party tracks about dumplings, and his offbeat production style guarantees that no two songs of his sound the same.

Chow has been generating local buzz as he prepares for his upcoming EP, “Moon Cake.” He has recently performed a sold-out show as a supporting act at The Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz. Now based in Oakland, California.
