In 2010 he began working with sounds of various artists around Houston and other surrounding areas. Eliot Ness is also, the younger brother of the infamous rapper and actress, “The Lady of Rage” of the Dogg Pound. This humble, young man of 31 is working his way to the top while building a legacy. He is currently learning to produce and engineer music, hoping to appeal to the “streets” with his unique sound. Eliot Ness has been working on his craft since high school and establishing his sound for a few years now. Like all the great ones, the “growing pains” of life, caused a delay in his release; but as we live and learn it’s realized that a “slow cook” makes for good seasoning, and the dish reveals the best flavor, when you indulge. No one wants to hear from an artist without a story to tell.

Eliot Ness has opened up shows for Juvenile and Lil’ Flip, and has also produced a show starring The Lady of Rage and Yo-Yo. He’s worked with the likes of celebrity DJ and producer Mike 5000 Watts, found of Swisha House and is currently playing on his radio station, 97.9 The Box Houston, Jango.com, TSU and other college stations in the Houston, Texas area.

A Houston Star is Born, “Hydro” used often to describe the self pro claimed Texas rapper. Came up in the mean streets of South Side Houston, Texas with limited resources and many struggles, Eliot “Hydro” Ness managed to “keep the pen to the paper” Seeing rap as his only way out, Ness has made it his life as he implied through a quote of his own; “I LOVE MUSIC AND WOULD NOT STOP IT FOR NOTHING, IT’S MY LIFE” – I’M ME

Upon being accepted in his neighborhood for having talent it was then, his drive and passion for Hip-Hop started. A Hustler by day and an artist by night he quickly became a part of H-Towns underground Hip-Hop scene and was give the name, Eliot “Hydro” Ness. As time progressed he wanted to create a means to use his interest in Hip-Hop and performing, as well as make a name for himself & promote the culture. With vision & determination Eliot Ness and fellow friends founded (H.O.B.) “Hustlaz On Tha Block” in the summer of 2010, it was then he presented his Hip-Hop talent and skills to the world. Now his video Cadillac ft Paul Wall and Niq is now in rotation on MTV JAMS, Vh-1, and CMT.
