California vocalist Donnie Parker presents the David Gomar & Fabian Ruiz-directed video for “Bedroom song”, from New Blues, his new EP produced by HellaMelody. He worked with HellaMElody to create beats in the FruityLoops program, which gave him courage to sing in falsetto. Knowing that something was eventually missing, he started to add the rap back, calling it “New Blues”. Donnie also recently released a video for the EP’s title track (stream on YouTube). Parker’s father was the lead vocalist of Gary, Indiana soul act The Lost Boys. Donnie has some upcoming placements with Kool John and Kirko Bangz which will be released in 2018. He is also working on a few tracks with European producer Childs Play out of Amsterdam. “Bedroom Song was inspired by a previous fling that ended right on time for both of us. The song isn’t meant to be happy or sad, but just a reflection of the time we spent together. Bedroom song was written for people who are at a point in their lives when they don’t overthink their relationships, and just desire a passionate experience.”
